In the breaking-but-not-really category of news we have this: the much-talked-about and impatiently awaited 3G iPhone will be officially presented and released on the 9th of June, during the Worldwide Developers Conference 2008 (WWDC), which will take place in San Francisco.
This precious piece of info comes not from Apple (at least not directly), but from Gizmodo, which says that a person “very, very close” to the insides of the Cupertino company confirmed the June 9 release date. Well, since mysterious and unnamed persons can’t be fully credible, for the moment we have no guarantee that the 3G iPhone will indeed be unveiled at WWDC. Therefore, we’ll just have to wait a few more weeks until June 9 and see then how close to Apple that invoked source really is.
