Asus P750

Asus P750 lands on the crowded Windows Mobile Pro scene but it sure isn’t dropped defenseless. The Asus PocketPC is among the best equipped Windows Mobile devices on the market. A hardware multi-tap keyboard to back up that 2.6″ TFT touchscreen, HSDPA, fast 520 MHz Marvel CPU, Wi-Fi, built-in SiRF Star III GPS, stereo Bluetooth and a 3 megapixel autofocus camera certainly sound like the right ammo to take on HTC-branded devices. Motorola MC75 High-End EDA

For those who might not know, an EDA is some sort of PDA mainly designed for usage in industrial environments, hence you shouldn’t be surprised at seeing the look (and size) of Motorola MC75.

Some of the features that the new MC75 EDA brings are: a 3.5 TFT touchscreen display with 640 x 480 pixels, A-GPS, Windows Mobile 6.0, both GSM, HSDPA and CDMA-EVDO Rev A. connectivity, Wi-Fi, IrDA, Bluetooth, USB, a 2 Megapixel camera with auto focus, an Intel XScale PXA270 processor at 624 MHz, 128MB of RAM, 256MB of ROM and a 3800 mAh battery. iPhone 3G!

The new iPhone 3G flaunts the same 3.5-inch display (480 x 320 pixels) and has grown around 1mm in width, length and thickness. The sweet tri-band HSDPA support is all there, allowing much faster data transfers than EDGE (but you know that already). There is no secondary camera for making video calls however. Samsung i900 Omnia

Samsung i900 Omnia will be first displayed at the CommunicAsia expo held in Singapore from June 17 to 20 but all details about its specifications are already made public.

Based on Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro, the Samsung i900 offers a 3.2-inch WideQVGA display (240 x 400 pixels) and an optical mouse much like the one found in the Samsung i780. Read the rest of this entry »

New Motorola A1800 Commercial Targets Businessmen

Motorola A1800, the latest touchscreen phone released by Motorola (and also one of the few Motos to come with a touchscreen display), appeared in a new commercial meant to lure the Chinese businessmen with its features. Why Chinese businessmen only? Because the phone seems to be targeted exclusively for China, in a move that doesn’t seem too smart from Motorola. Eten unveils dual SIM PocketPC, Gigabyte shoots 5 megapixels

Eten presented three new models at the Computex 2008 trade show. The Glofiish X900 is an upgrade of the already available X800, the Glofiish DX900 brings dual SIM functionality for the first time to the Windows Mobile platform, and finally the Glofiish X610 is a minor upgrade to the affordable yet powerful X600.
